I am trying to send some pictures of people to my T610 so that I can use them for caller ID. I've saved the pictures as small jpgs and am trying to use bluetooth to send them. I keep getting a dialog that says my device doesn't accept this type of file, would I like to send it anyway. The phone gets the picture and puts it into My Pictures, but it just shows up as an 'X'. Has anyone been able to get this to work? Any advice? The manual is incredibly unhelpful on this.

thanks,
kman

Make sure the resolution is correct (120x160) for the pictures. I still get that error message but the file stile transfers.

Can't you just use iSync to associate pictures with your contacts?

Have you tried storing them as gifs ? I only use gifs for my T68i and it works just fine...

I finally solved this problem. I was trying to use Photoshop and preview to export the pics as smaller jpegs and that still doesn't work. But exporting from iPhoto works like a charm.

I have pictures in my AddressBook, but they don't seem to get transferred to my phone. Does this work for anyone else?

Like someone said for the t68i it has to be gifs. Perhaps it is the same thing.

If you use Photoshop don't do a save as, do a "save for web".

It works perfectly with my 3650. I never got it working when I had a T68i though. Like Sykwalker said, they might have to be GIFs.
