I just got a 30 gig iPod from my wife and her mom for my 33rd Birthday (even though its the 5th...hint,hint ) and I have to say this thing is really amazing. I love it. I am listening to it even though I'm at my iBook with iTunes on it.

I have big plans for this little box of fun, some professional and some for pleasure.

WOW! I've wanted one for years, now finally I have 15 gigs more than I ever thought I'd get. Had to get it at 'Best Buy' though and they bought the $40 -4 year protection plan with it. I'm happy with that desicion too. - they (best buy) were idiots though, "oh yah we got one, its 60 gigs aint it???." - oh yah.

Couple of quesitons.
1.Were can I find a iTrip for this baby?
2. Can I delete a playlist/ a song from her without the whole process being done. I want to load her up but my ibook has only room for 8 gigs.

Anyhow, enough of my gloating, I have iPod Love

Speaking of Best Buy. Few years ago when Best Buy was selling the first iMac, I bought one and purchase warranty as well. 2 years later, my iMac monitor crapped out so I brought it back to Best Buy to get it fixed. Well, Best Buy then stop selling Macs, so the people working in computer support were confused why I brought a Mac in. Anyway, the computer support guy there keep saying "MacinTrash. MacinTrash. MacinTrash." I wanted to kicked the guy's ass and talk **** back to him. However, he had my computer and I didn't think that was wise. I just hope their attitudes have changed though.

I would avoid the iTrip if possible. Too many limitations.

Check this site to see if there is a converter for your vehicle:

I bought one for my truck and it is the coolest thing ever, other than the iPod itself!

Direct RCA input into the back of your factory stereo. No quality loss due to tape adapter or radio frequency device like the iTrip.

There are also a bunch of new car stereos that support front-mounted line-input from MP3 devices like the iPod. Then all you need is the cable to connect iPod directly to the front of the head unit.
