Just got this 29.95 beauty in the other day. It is a NICE hard case for the ipod... one of the few that allows the beauty of the iPod to show through. It is rigid and clear... very nice. Comes with a customized dock-like thing that you feed your current ipod wire into makeing it so you don't have to pull it out to dock it... just flip it into its standing position (very nice effect also) and plop it onto the new dock. I like it very much... the ONLY thing is that the plastic is pretty thick around the buttons (play, back, etc) so someone with big fingers, like me, has to really push it into the hole (clean thoughts please) to get a response... Other than that it is great!

Just thought I would share my thoughts....

i have a question. does the plastic from the inside of the case scratch the surface of the ipod? is there any type of protective lining? also is it a snug fit or is there movement if you were to go running or exercising with it.

i'm leaning towards this case for my ipod and these are my only concerns

I have the 30gb... The flipstand comes with an insert for the smaller two models, but not for the 30... it fits right in there very snuggly. I've pulled it in and out a couple times and have not noticed any scratches caused by the stand at all. very well made (and I am particular about my electronics. Hope this helps.
