This camcorder isn't listed on Apple's iMovie compatibility webpage:

Does anyone have this camera and does it work with iMovie and/or Final Cut Express?

I have an older Sony TRV and it works just fine. I would guess apple just never got around to testing it though, so it is not listed.

I can also never remember hearing anyone say they have had compatibility problems using any firewire equipped camcorder.
