Why ipods released now instead of Sept 16????

Something is up at Apple if they release the ipods now, just before the Expo. Obviosuly, they have so much stuff, they don't have time, so, they announce the little things first.

I dunno but i got a macworld today with an add for ipods matching the new add campeigne for them. No specifications though, maybe they just wanted to have a big release with adds in the magazine the day it was released. Heheh i dunno.

Then again... if these are the small things. what does Apple have up there sleave for the Expo. Honestly, I am still waiting for the new accessories for the iPod. I have an idea for one... Firewire Audio input. However, rumors claim another device too... what can it be? Oh, the excitement.

this is just a minor rev to the ipods...nothin' but bigger drives, no new features. they've gotten away from making a big splash with minor stuff like this and just quietly updating (like the imac update today too....). i guess that they want to really focus all the attention on 10.3 and g5's at the expo.
