Ok, here's the problem. Today, my iPod was only showing the Apple logo on the screen so I followed the instructions from the Apple support website and restored the disk. Pretty much everything seems chill, it mounts and I can toggle through the menus on the iPod. However, it does not connect to iTunes anymore, so I cannot sync my music to it, essentially making it an empty iPod.

So does anyone have any idea how to reset iTunes to recognize the iPod when it is connected before I call Apple?
