I'm looking for an external firewire DVD burner to hook to my FP iMac running 10.2.6

Does anyone have experience either good or bad with particular models or manufacturers?

What type of drive works the best with the Mac OS (X and 9)?

Anyone know the difference between DVD+R and DVD-R?
