Hi,

I'm a Canadian who recently moved to the UK and I'm going to buy a new snazzy Powerbook as soon as I can solve this problem:

The UK Apple Store offers you the choice of the standard keyboard, or an International English option for an extra £1. Does anybody know a) the difference between the stock UK keyboard and North American keyboards (i.e. does it have the " and @ signs on opposite keys like WinTel keyboards) and b) the difference between the International English and UK/North American keyboards?

I've tried to find keyboard layouts on the web to no avail. Anybody with some real-world knowledge of this?

Cheers,
RevT

It's where the '£' pound sterling key is, On the UK keyboards it's on a different number than on the international ones.

Cool, thanks. Do both of those keyboards put the @ sign on the same key as the single quote, and the " (double quote) on the same key as the 2?

Would it be possibe for someone who has access to both the International and the UK keyboards to post photographs that show the differences? It just seems easier than trying to describe said differences, and I'd appreciate being able to see for myself. Or if anyone knows where I can find such pictures online, links would be fine.
