I'm glad that I had the chance to purchase 2 apple pro keyboards when it was still around! I got them from THE WIZ, a store that existed in the NY area. It was going bankrupt so on the final days, they had 2 remaining keyboards from APPLE. I purchased both of them for a mere 20$ (thats 10 bucks a piece) Too bad they ran out of the pro mouse. This new keyboard didn't appeal to me (BlueTooth and EMAC non pro version)

Anyone still prefer the Pro keyboards?

I wish I had gotten to The Wiz when they were still
open. I much prefer the old white-on-black keyboards,
and especially hate the sharp edges of the new eMac-style
white keyboards.

I like my pro keyboard and mouse. I have a set for my Tibook and another set for my Rev A iMac. The round mouse on the iMac didn't work for me.
Tibook 800dvi 40gig, 1 gig RAM
iMac 24" 2.16 C2d, 250G, 1gig RAM

I have 2 iMac DVs, and hence 2 hockey-puck mice (since replaced with APMs), and 2 of the compact keyboards.

These are the best! I'm going to miss them much when they die. They're small (duh), giving you extra mousing room when space is limited, like on a keyboard shelf. They're translucent, not transparent, so you can't see 3 years worth of accumulated crud inside. Ya gots yer integrated power switch. Super snug USB ports...

The APKs are nice though. I've liked pretty much every Apple keyboard that wasn't built into a laptop. The key tension is juuust right.

I impulse bought the new BT combo, so we'll see if they continue the winning keyboard streak.

What's the difference between the pro kb/mouse and the new ones? They look/feel the same to me? (except for the colour dif)
