Ok, so I have a dual 800 G4, with a 17inch studio display. I'm about to purchase a PC, and was wondering if there was a certain perephial I could purchase that could switch back and forth between the 2 systems using the same studio display, mouse, and keyboard (after buying the apropriate adaptors).

I know those switches that can switch between 2 PC systems, but will they still work with a mac and a pc?

Yup, it's called a KVM (keyboard, video, mouse), and they exist, but the ones for ADC (as used by the Studio Display) are rather pricey.

Do a google search on Macintouch for ADC and KVM (e.g. enter +ADC +KVM site:macintouch.com into google), it'll bring up the relevant pages.

I use a Belkin kvm usb/ps2 kvm with audio. You can find them at CompUSA.

I recommend purchasing premium vga/dvi cables to go with it.

It works quite well btwn my mac and pc. I do use two separate mice out of preference but just a single Microsoft Natural Multimedia Keyboard.

d'oh: you need something ADC compatible, sorry!
