i'm holding off my purchase of a display until apple rolls out with the newest upgrade. i'm wondering what the rumors are on when the launch date will be, and the new specifications ?

Wouldn't it be cool if Apple came out with a new screen iPresent.....a new DLP projector from Apple perfect for Powerbooks and presentations! It will have DVI (duh) SPDIF in/out and Analog in/out, along with S-Video and Blue Tooth to work with Apple's Blue Tooth Mouse and Keyboard! Plus it will be all Aluminum Case with those vent holes as seen in PB 15", PB 17" and G5 tower. Features Widescreen and switchable to 4:3 aspect ration with zoom, focus, and auto raiser. Bluetooth Remote. and will have amazing contrast and lumens values. All in a portable size rivaling that of the smallest Infocus projector (which also has DVI!)

Darn I just woke up from a sweet dream! Or is it?

i think if the displays have a built-in iSight and microphone, with the aluminum finish. mmm. it would be wonderful.

but dang, man! i'm just angry apple is so slow with the new updates! what happened at the paris expo? but following the scrubious trend, last week were the iMacs, then this week is the powerBooks, next week, iBooks(?) then the displays??? we want updates!
