My uncle has an iMac DVSE with sound sticks, but lately, they aren't working. Just the built in speakers are making noise. I've tried just about everything I can think of (ie. unplugged 'em and plugged them back in) to no avail. A co-worker also mentioned that he was having the same problem with his iSub (same model iMac). Both are running 10.2.6. Anyone have any suggestions?

Mine constantly stop working. i just have to go to the sound pref pane and swap between the built in speaker and the soundsticks to get them working again.
