I have a 20Gb model with the original style buttons and it is 61.8mm wide (2.433in). Are the new iPods still this wide? The website site says 2.4in. Does anyone know if this is the exact size. I am building some stands for them and need to know if I have to make stands for each type or if one stand will fit all. As I said in my original post, the apple web site says 2.4 inches. What I want to know is is this exact? I am trying to build my stand to within a very tight tolerance. Precision is key to it working correctly. If anyone could measure or confirm that they are 2.4 inches that would be great.

yes, its exactly the same size, to the decimal (2.433 inches)

Judging from the looks, the except for the thickness, their size is identical. The 10-20 gig model has about 2/3 of the thickness of my 20 gig model.
