Some of you may know that I am having problems with my refurb DP G4, whilst on the phone to Cancomuk tech support arranging it to be collected and exchanged for a new 1.6 G5 I asked the guy there if he knew where I could buy a Radeon 9800 Pro for the Mac.

His reply was that they were in stock and that the price was an amazingly low (although he didn't think so) £129.95 + vat.

Obviously I ordered one....

Hmmm I can only assume that most of you thought this was some kind of advert or scam.

I do feel sorry about this, especially as it means you have missed probably the best value for money graphics card this year.

CancomUK have at last shipped my order, it should arrive tomorrow (although I'm at work )

Here is an excerpt from the confirmation email....

"We thought you would like to know that goods for your order are in stock so your Credit Card has been debited for £164.38

We expect to despatch the goods with TNT Express TNT with Consignment Reference ****** for 1 - Next day by 17:00 1 (Please note that this service means that the Courier will make their best effort to deliver at some time on the Next Working Day')"

Again sorry if this looks like spam or an advert. I only wish I'd ordered 5!!
