In a hasty moment, I ordered the Apple BT wireless keyboard and the Apple BT wireless mouse. The goal is to get a clean desk without any wires, RF-recievers or docking stations etc.

On second thoughts, I remembered that I really hated the one-button mouse from apple tha came bundled with my Cube. That's why I got a MS wireless blue mouse last year...

Anyway, my question is whether the Microsoft Bluetooth mouse will work with the D-link BT adapter (new type DBT) and wether it will work alongside the Apple wireless keyboard. (I suspect the MS mouse and Apples implementation both is HID compliant and that this therefore should work). I would like to get this confirmed before I make a second mistake and purchase yet another mouse I don't want...

I have searched the forums but not seen any conclusive remarks about this setup. I am sure this is a question many people would like to get answered, since there seems to be many that prefer a two-button mouse with a scroll-wheel.

If anyone got the MS bt mouse with the D-link adapter, can you please give me some info on the performance/feel in OSX?

Thanks,

Sophus

I have the DLink adaptor on my G4 Cube at work and just picked up the MS Mouse tonight. I'll try them out tomorrow and let you know. For now, I think it's going back, as it's skipping on my 15 AL is pretty bad at times. Guess I'll probably wait for the Logitech MX900, or better yet would be a Bluetooth trackball.

Great, thanks. I'm awaiting the outcome.
