I am trying to see if I can get a friend's DVD+R external firewire drive to burn an iMovie project in Toast 6. Is DVD+R something that won't work in OSX even if the external drive is one that can burn in that format.
I tried to burn a movie to a DVD+R disc on a Sony 500UXL with Toast and, while it did record, playback on a standalone was ruined. The mac does not support dvd+r at this time, and I never attempted to do it again. Hopefully this will be fixed in Panther.Hope this helps.
