My brother and I just ordered two iSights. Due to a stroke, I am unable to speak. In other words, while using iChat AV and the iSights, my brother can talk to me, however, I cannot talk to him. Is it still possible for me to text chat with him although we will be using video chat?

Yes, that is no problem at all. You can have both connections open at the same time.

I hope that you'll be able to recover from the effects of your stroke.

Yep, no problem. I do this a lot. You can even do file transfers while vid chatting.
