can i make one of the 10 gb windows version work on my mac by downloading whatever? I want the 10 gb 1 for 169

I want an ipod but they dont have any mac 10 gb refurbished in stock.

So its the 2nd generation. I just wanna make sure i can get it and make it work on my mac.

You can format it for mac, so yes it will work...

It will work, but you don't actually "format it" like a hard drive, using Disk Utility. You download and run the iPod Updater, then follow these instructions.

Yep... it will work. Apple actually is looking to convert users from Windows to Mac, so it makes sense that Windows iPods can be converted to a Mac iPod.

btw... I just bought the same model. w00t!
