I've noticed quite a few Mac stores are selling the SoundBlaster MP3+. Has anyone tried this sound interface on their Macs yet? If so, does the optical out work well with VLC or the new DVD Player in Panther (ie, does surround sound stay preserved)? And do games actually play surround sound with this thing?

my last knowledge of it is that it wasn't supported in OS X and had minimal support in OS 9, i am not sure if that changed. if you want an audio card, look at that M-Audio one, its the best consumer card on the mac market.

Sadly i haven't ponied up the 100 bucks for it, but its on my list, my long long list.

I GOT WASTED WITH PHIL SHERRY!!!
