I am considering purchasing a bluetooth mouse for my powerbook, but I'm unsure if it is worth the "wow" factor if having bluetooth on is going to drain my battery faster, and if so how much faster.
Any experience would be great, thanks

if no one has experience (i doubt this) with using bluetooth for the entire battery charge, is having bluetooth 'on' the same as using a mouse with it? Could i just test it myself by enabling bluetooth and seeing how long the battery lasts? or is this not accurate.
Thanks

YAY, my first post as a member #50!!!

No, simply having bluetooth on will not give you an accurate estimate, as when a mouse is connected, it uses a smidge more power to actually "ping" the device from time to time, and other radio activity.

It shouldn't be really noticible though comapred to say keeping the screen one notch brighter.
