anyone tested this? I am pretty sure it's the tape due to the bandwidth constraints of the FM frequency..

A direct cable connection to the AUX input of your car stereo would be even better...

Tape is better than FM adapter, direct to AUX is better than all.

in all honesty, tape and fm adapters STINK
horrible quality and really an INSULT to the ipod in the first place

unfortunately, however, few cars give you any other options with stock radios.

i lease cars and usually do NOT change head units... most are UNchangeable even if i wanted to

ie., bmw 330i and acura mdx
both have those proprietary dashes with hidden head units and no aux inputs... rendering my beloved ipod fairly useless unless i want to listen to 1970's 8-track-like fidelity...

i have xm in my 330i as well... fm modulator....
still paying the $9.95/month but NEVER TURN IT ON because i am so offended by the quality of the audio.

please car manufacturers... start putting dashboard-accessible aux inputs on all cars made now and in the future....

it would cost you nothing and we all want that
please
please
please

greg
Enjoy the ride... not just the destination
