Hey, I had a friend who just 'switched' from a crappy Dell laptop to the sweet 15" powerbook. I want to make things as smooth as possible for her, but she has an HP 2000c, a printer HP refuses to write any mac driver for (idiots). Apparently, the solution was that Adobe PressReady allowed one to print to the printer from the Mac. Unfortunately, Adobe PressReady has been out of production since 2000 or 2002, either way, you can't get your hands on the product commercially. HP, when selling this printer and others like it in its line packaged them with Adobe PressReady Basics (a non-Commercial version of the software. My friend has called HP tech support, and they won't send her a disc (again, idiots). So I am calling for some Mac Community help for someone who made the switch. If you have Adobe PressReady Basics please let me know so we can set things up for her. Thank you so much for your time and help!
