Alright... I ordered this printer from online Apple Store on 9/17, to this day, it is still open and still says ship before 10/8. WTF? why does it take Apple almost a month to get this thing ship to me? Is this model no longer being made or something? even if they have to get it from Canon themself, it should still not that more than a week for Apple to get it into their warehouse. I should of just ordered from Canon themself. This waiting for something that has already be out on the market for some time is really pissing me off.

They just replaced it with the i960. Better to go to a local store and get it as it will probably be on sale anyway.

It isn't a big deal. Basically the same thing. The i950 is awesome and I bought one even though the i960's had been announced. I bought one for work even because I was so happy with mine.

You would get the i950 cheaper anyway. Go to canon's site to check it out.

When I orderd the i950 from Apple, it is still listed at $249. I've always remembered it at that price. Where do you think I can pick myself up a i960? I rather just walk into a store and pick one up, it'll be so much faster. But wait, how come the i960 only cost $199 while the i950 still cost $249? is the i950 still better?

Hmm, don't know why the new one would be less. I thought that the new one was slightly better.

Anyway, go to your local Best buy, I have no clue where you would go as I am in Canada.

Because buying from Apple is expensive. Other retailers will always be quicker to lower prices on discontinued models.
