My house mates and I are getting broadband, and I personally would like to get wireless - want to use my Tibook properly! - What's the best one tp get for a mixed house of 2 pc laptops and 1 mac? Also how much should I expect to pay? I know the Apple extreme ones are £150-180, but then Apple is always pricey!

The Apple ones are certainly much cheaper than they used to be. But there are alternatives..
You can get adsl modems with built it wireless base stations too. Although I have no idea what they are like to use or setup. (I use a MK 1 Apple Base station)
Have a look at www.dslsource.co.uk they have a good selection of kit.
The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.

Netgear, they look good and the price is amazing, really easy to set up >

Wireless access point (54g) = WG602 = £72.85 from dabs.com

Modem/Router = DG814 = £92.82 from dabs.com

I have the above setup, two pc's attached using cable and the 12"pb uses the wireless 54g connection

Last thing, I notice you have a Ti book so you could get the DG824M as you dont need the 54g, you get modem/router/wireless in one box for £131.60 (dabs)

Hope thats helpful

Netgear MR814. I don't know where you can get one in the UK, but here in the States, I can pick one up for < 40 bucks.
Forget that g nonsense. It'll only give you troubles and will NOT speed up your internet at all. Plus if either of the other PCs use a b card, then the whole network defaults to b.
