I've been having an issue with my Ipod. I use iTunes to rip songs from my CD's and transfer them to my Ipod (AAC format). When I listen to my Ipod, the vocals are really soft sounding and the backround instruments are so much louder. Anyone else experience this?

Settings:

Version 2.02
Equalizer off

I turned sound check on (makes the volume softer) and off but still the same problem

yes very interesting and annoying. it is specially noticed while playing in the car. I was listening to the Bealtes Yellow Submarine and all i can hear was the background effects like engine noises and background tune, the lead vocals can barely be heard.
