I just got my logitech mx500, unfortunately my g5 has yet to arrive. My question is, Mac OS X support isn't listed on the installation cd, am I gonna run into any problems?
Nope, you should be just fine. I have the same mouse, and have used it perfectly in 10.2.6-10.2.8. You might want to invest in the fabulous USB Overdrive X for more control over your buttons. It's much much better than Logitech's included software.
It's a great mouse. Have fun with your new G5 and your great new mouse!
Ditto here... using MX500 with G5 1.8 just fibe here. Just inistall Logitech software from their site.
Neat trick> if you go into sys pref panel for Logitech and right click (okay control click) you will see a 1X 2X 4X menu pop up that will allow even faster accelleration of your mouse.
