iPod Christmas gift- buy now or wait?

I'm planning on getting my daughter an iPod for Christmas. They have refurb 10 gb iPods at the apple store for $169, plus I've got a $20 gift certificate at apple store for renewing my membership. Seems like a pretty good deal, but I'm reluctant to purchase it now and have a better deal pop up just before Christmas. Or, on the other hand, the apple refurb iPods may dry up before Christmas and then I'll be wishing I had bought it now.

Any suggestions?

Same problem here,

My brother got hocked up with my refurnished 10 GB iPod during my vacation in Spain and just yesterday asked me to purchuase a windows 20 GB as his Christmas present.

I have doubts if this is the right moment but agree that these prices are a steal.

Besides, I wonder if the new models are more appropiate for windows users.

Get the 20GB. The accessories that come with the 20GB (and the 15GB, for that matter) are cost more than $100 to add.
