Ok , the problem is that I have two external Firewire HD, but when I start the Mac they do not appear (they used to).
I launch the disk utility , and they do not appear either.
And when I check my system nothings seems to be plug into fwire.

Try booting up in OS9 if you have it.
If the external HDDs are bootable hold the Option key at start-up and they will appear if they're not broken.

Finally member Agnus_D, gave me the solution:

Reset the NVRAM ,
Booting into OpenFirmware:
cmd+opt+o+f
Type:
reset-nvram
reset-all

This is the solution so if you read it , write it down , just in case one day you may need it.

back again to confirm that the solution worked for that start up.
This morning I had the same problem again.
If you are interested I have a topic opened in POWER MAC as FIREWIRE FAILS where I hope to find out what is wrong.
Thanks to everybody.
