I have been debating on whether to purchase a laser printer - I tend to print journal articles with text mainly - thus speed as well as clarity of print is an issue for me. My research to date has left me wondering if anyone has had a reasonable experience with a laser printer in OSX (10.2+), both with respect to output and drivers...
While duplex options are limited any suggestions on that front would be a bonus...

Cheers and Thanks...

had very nice experience with Brother 1440, which is a fastest laser printer out there - 14 ppm- and very fast in XP and also is fast in OS X. USB. you can upgrade the memory to 36 mb. I used an old memory from LC 630 to make 14 mb instead of default 2 (2+12). Now its quite fast and prints illustations and pdf just OK

OS X works great with any PostScript level 2 or level 3 laser printer. And such are easily networked if you ever have more than one Mac.

(I'm not saying PS is necessary, just that if its PS it will work well. PS is necessary, though, if you want to network it.)
