There probably is an easy solution, but basically when I listen to the 1000 plus songs on my Ipod, they all have different noise starting noise levels.

Some songs need you to crank up the volume in iTunes, while others are way too loud.

I'm constantly playing with the volume. Is there a way to find the perfect level for a song and keep it that way.

Or other way to keep in consistent.

Turn on Sound Check in iTunes preferences. Let it scan your songs.
Turn on Sound Check in iPod settings.
Sync iPod.

You can also try iVolume.

iTunes sound check only checks the first few seconds of each song (as I understand) so it can be fooled by quiet or loud introductions. iVolume examines the whole song and measures the overall volume of the song.

I just installed it yesterday and let it go through my music last night. But I haven't been able to really evaluate it yet.
