I'd like to hook up a 20" Apple cinema display to a DVD player. Is this easy or will it involve complicated convertors?

Any other options for a good widescreen LCD display? (needs to be able to play back PAL 16:9 format)

Thanks in anticipation.

Why don't you just use your Mac to play the DVD??? Or buy a widescreen LCD TV

My Mac is used for work and this is to be a stand alone display ... a DVD player costs very little in comparison to a Mac.
LCD TV's I've seen are either quite expensive, are not widescreen and just don't look as 'cool' as Apple 20"

Don't look for a widescreen LCD TV. Get a plasma TV instead. LCDs aren't meant for use as TVs... I've seen them used but normally they're in the form of $800-$1000 15" LCDs. That's not a practical setup.

So look for a large widescreen HDTV, like a plasma (or if you're cheaper, a projection TV).
