I was wondering if anyone has this problem or knows how to fix it.

The Print Center icon stay is in the dock after the printer is done printing. I have to close it. I have had this problem as long as I have been running 10.2. I am now on 10.2.8 on a MP 800 (Quicksilver).

Does anyone know how to fix this. It seems Apple can't.

When it is printing do you click on the icon at the dock at any time? If NOT then it should close.

I use to but I found out that it will stay open if I did. I leave it alone and it still stays up.

You could try the excellent Print Center Repair utility: maybe it could solve your problem...

Thanks. I will try it. It sounds like it might work.
