External hard drive on mac and pc

	Any help appreciated: I have a 60Gb pocketdrive (LaCie) and I want to transfer some large files to a PC. The pocketdrive has USB2 and Firewire though the PC does not have FW. I don't know what OS they are running but it is either 98 or 2000. In short, if I plug the drive in through the USB, will the PC recognise it. I haven't modified the drive since it shipped (and it ships for PC or Mac). Any further details required, just ask, and again, thanks, Rohan
