I've been waiting seemingly forever for Sprint PCS to release a bluetooth enabled phone.
I talked to a customer service rep a few days ago, and she said that they have been getting so many calls about this subject, that she inquired more about it to the upper level management.
Basically she gave it to me like this, "sometime around November... holiday sales rush"
I had mentioned to her that Sprint has teased us in the past with their press releases of a bluetooth phone. And she was totally aware of that. She repeated that it is truly a definate "go" and although she wasn't sure of the manufacturer (Sony or Sanyo? possibly?) she assured me that it was going to happen.
Also, since the reason why I called was to ask about my daredevil Motorolla cell (it did a 60 mph backflip onto pavement) replacement... she said that she could offer me a credit, since I had a technology update protection for my business account from them. Her saying that a credit could be applied towards my new phone (the bluetooth one) is enough evidence for me that Sprint is going through with it... and my bet is before Christmas.

(PS- those who ask me to back up these statements can get off their butts and call up Sprint themselves... and your mileage may vary, the guy I had talked to yesterday (a billing question) didn't know anything about blutooth, so maybe he wasn't as into his work as much as the other lady was)
