Well I ordered it as soon as the Apple store came back online after the announcements and it shipped yesterday. As soon as I get it I will post a sample recording.

Excellent, Thank-you very much. I'm very interested in it. If it is possible, could you test it in a lecture setting at all, or try to simulate that by recording audio from a distance?

Apple and FedEx's shipping policies SUCK. if you are not there they will not drop the package off. even if you sign the missed shipment notice and take responsibility for the shipment they still won't drop it off. they also won't forward it to another address like UPS will do. they also won't hold it at a FedEx location so you can pick it up. if you want to change the shipping address it has to go back to apple then rerouted to your new address. maybe i will get this sometime in November.

i am going to see The Darkness on Nov 19th and Bowie on January 13th. both will be recorded. i can also record a small lecture hall, but nothing larger than about 600-800 square feet.
