My T610 is connecing to my PB w/ musch issues. My speeds are VERY fast for a cell phone, and i'm very happy with it. Safari works, Ping works, mail works. What doesn't work is iChat or AIM. I currently have my PB set to dial (for t mobile) *99#* i also have tried *99#*3#* again, both of these connect, but AIM doesn't work on either. I have set data compression on and off, still nothing. Last time that i tried to do it, i was successful in getting AIM and iChat working w/o any problems at all. Usually i get a "unknown host" or "looking for service" and "timed out error" if anyone knows how to fix this, please please let me know! thankyou

If you're connecting via T-Zones, you should be aware that only certain ports are allowed connections. You have to upgrade to T-Mobile Internet for the whole shebang.

I was able to connect through T-Zones with my T68i and use iChat several weeks ago. Now I can't...I was wondering if I was the only one with these problems. Maybe T-Mobile caught on and closed off some ports.
It's just an ordinary day and it's all your
state of mind, at the end of the day, you
just gotta say it's alright!

I am using T-Mobile's $20 a month, not the $10 T-zone.

I use T Mobile too and am on the $20 a month unlimited data service.

How are you getting such awesome speeds, and do you know what they are?

My Safari speed is VERY slow, but usable. Mail is even slower. iChat works for me, as well as Sherlock.

I am using a SE Z600 with the T39 modem scripts.

Thanks!
