I don't get it, there are drivers available on hp's site for my printer, which i can download and use my printer directly connected to my mac. But i can't use it thru windows sharing because it's not on the list on apple's compatibility website

Does anyone have any idea why?

Just trying to figure out what is going on, doesn't make sense to me

Which printer? Sometimes the newer (open source) GIMP-print drivers will work.

I'm using a generic HP driver for my unsupported Samsung printer. (Actually it was supported, but the Samsung driver stopped working properly somewhere around X.2.5 or something, and I have not yet seen an update.)
