I was looking at a USB Mic to replace my PlainTalk Mic from my Beige G3. Now I am back to getting an iSight. So a few questions.

First I tried it at a store, and I sit about 6 inches from my computer monitor and the tip of the monitor is at least 4 inches above my eye level. So it looks like to chat I will need to move my monitor back.

Can I use the Mic for voice commands? or as a general Mic for the Mac? Can some people wiht isight, do one way video with me so I can see and hear how yours work?

Thanks
