Kensington makes a wireless [rechargeable batteries] keyboard/mouse for Mac. Keyboard has multimedia function etc. both for $62.00.
Would this or bluetooth be a better way to go???
My ti-powerbook is BT ready (not installed).
Please help. This is my first time (actually 2nd, but I got no response) on this forum, and I would send back the Kensington, before it's too late, if Apple BT (or some other) keyboard and or mouse were a better option.

in the future, just bump your other post, we don't need another topic for the same thing.

now to your question:
bluetooth isn't really a "better way to go", it's just a different connectivity option. Many like it because it cuts down on cables and receivers.

You just have to look at each feature set, and their costs to see what you want.

Apple's keyboard/mouse needs batteries, while the others are rechargeable. Also, you don't have built in bluetooth, so you'd have to buy an (expensive) adapter just to use your keyboard/mouse.

Also, depending where you are on the one mouse button debate you may or may not like what apple has to offer.

Apple's offering becomes more expensive because the cost of a bluetooth adapter for around $49. But if wires bother you that much, you don't mind the higher cost, and you would hopefully use the bluetooth for something else as well (like a cell phone) it may be worth it for you.
