I have a 30GB Mac Ipod that I want to give to my friend (getiing a 40Gb for myself). My friend uses Windows 2000 Pro and I was wondering is it posssible to convert the iPod to the format that Windows uses (Fat 32 is it?) so that she can sync it with iTunes for WIndows?
Thanks in advance!!

It's easy. You just need access to a Windows machine. Depending on the generation of iPod (first, second, or third) you just download the corresponding version of the iPod software updater for windows, plug the iPod into the machine, run the updater and it will reformat the iPod appropriately. Actually, you could probably just download iTunes for Windows, and it will probably detect and offer an update automatically. Good Luck!
