I asked about this before a long time ago but I figure I'll ask again as things movie quick in technology. I have two computers on a network. I want to link their audio so the sound of one plays through the other. Rather than messing around with audio cables, I figure why not use the link that is already connecting them. Anyone know of anything like this?

The technology that will do this (with large numbers of simultaneous bi-directional streams) is called mLAN.
Products that use mLAN are pretty thin on the ground at the moment. Let's just say mLAN is the pro-audio future.
Perhaps you can do what you want right now using something like Rogue Amoeba's Detour across an Ethernet link . . . ?
What are you actually trying to accomplish? Maybe if you describe your ultimate goal, someone can recommend a solution. I mean, I'm guessing you're not really interested in being able to hear when the other machine gets an email...
