Soooo, XMAS is coming up, and from the wife i'm looking forward to a nice new iSight. From the rest of the family i'm looking for an iPod. But is this the best time to be buying one? Are upgrades right around the corner? If so, i should probably get the 40gig so i don't feel so outdated in a couple months, right? I just don't want to have people spend $500 on this thing, and then a new one with some crazy color screen and an 80gig hd with built in bluetooth comes along. Sooo, is this REALLY the BEST time to be buying an iPod?
Specs:12" PowerBook-1.33GHz, 768 PC2700, Airport Express, Panther (10.3.9), iSight, 15GB 3G iPod

It seems highly unlikely that they will update the iPod once again before Xmas...

Well, I'm waiting until every feature I want in an iPod to exist (with decent quality) before I buy another one.

Maybe in another 6 months.
