Anyone have any 19" LCD recommendations? I would like to find something with DVI.
I like the look of the Samsung 192T but some of the reviews on the monitor are mixed. Anyone seen one in person?

I just picked up a 191T about a month ago and love it. I think the only real differnce is the 192T has a speaker.

The Formac 1900 is nice, and was just updated with a higer contrast ratio, and faster scanning:
ForMac 19"
If you can swing a little more, the 2010 is really really nice:
Formac 2010

Last year I bought the Dell UltraSharp 1900FP, which is a re-badged Samsung 191T. It was on sale at the Dell site for $720 when they were sitll around $950 elsewhere. Even a year later, visitors still drool over it. The picture quality is excellent, with great contrast and color 'depth'. It doesn't tend toward 'cool' neutrals like the Apple LCDs do. The case is well made, the bezel is super thin, it's attractive, and I've never had a moment of trouble with it. What more can you ask?
p.s.- The silver-bezel case goes very well with the G5, in both style and color.

Will that work with the G4 Powermac using the DVI connection?

If it's like the Samsung 191T like MichiganRich said it was it will. The 191T has both DVI and an VGA connector. I'm using it via the DVI to my Dual 1.3 G4 with a GF 4Ti card installed.

So will any DVI monitor hook up to any Powermac with a DVI port? Is it really that simple?

The Samsung or the Dell branded version of the 191T is a great way to go. The Dell can often be had at significant discounts which fluctuate daily.

I'll put in a plug for a not-very-well-known brand that could save you a few bucks: Sceptre . You can buy them at newegg.com. I own a 19" Sceptre (X9 series) and have been very pleased with it. I also have a Viewsonic VX900--no complaints there, either.
