That SightFlex looks pretty damn cool! I have heard bad things about MacMice though. Any chance this thing is gonna be good and even ship?

The SightFlex does look cool but I'd never buy anything from MacMice.
Besides, a little duct tape works wonders for attaching the iSight stand to a non-Apple monitor.

I want to second both the SightFlex looking cool, and MacMice having a less than stellar rep.
But the SightFlex doesn't suffer from the usual "Jack Squat" if you catch my meaning... i.e. it doesn't seem to be a re-branded product marked up 200%, or a hunk of plexi marked up %2000.
Even if it is a re-brand, $25 seems like a pretty thin margin.
I'm plenty willing to wait for someone else to guinea-pig though. Plus, it seems to fill a need so effectively, I'm wondering if MacMice is going to have supply issues.
Here's to hoping people change...

Yeah, it at least looks like it's a solid piece of hardware. And like you said, it seems to fill a void effectively. So on top of possible supply issues, I'm wondering about the functioning quality of it. Will the neck be as easy to position and maneuver as they suggest? Will the base be heavy enough to offer support while positioning? Will the firewire cable be up to snuff?
All questions for the guinea pig to answer. But I may be one of those guinea pigs!
