I've had no problems with mine. However, I should add that I've *never* been able to do borderless printing from iPhoto, and considered it a problem with iPhoto. Maybe I should have tried some more.

I am using version 1.9.1 of the printer driver, which is what came with Panther (was also the version I was running in Jaguar).

Hmm, I haven't found any such thing. Got a link?

There are specific instructions at the Canon sight. Do a search for iPhoto on their site. Once I followed thier instructions I have had NO trouble printing borderless on my Canon 950.

I hope you didn't install the Canon drivers from the Canon site -- Panther includes drivers for all current Canon printers, including the i850.

(If you did, you might need to reinstall the Panther printer driver package from Panther Disc 2.)

That said, "can't get it to work quite correctly" is about as vague as it gets. Please elaborate (or I may close the thread).

I didn't either. What version are the ones on the panther CD?

All I know is that I've got 1.9.1 running, which is the same as before my Panther upgrade.

But I did an archive and install, installed the Panther Canon drivers as part of the install, and had to re-create the printer afterwards. So I'm assuming the driver I'm using now came from Panther.

The Canon borderless iPhoto instructions are here (scroll down about half way). Note that these are not unique to Canon. I follow the same steps for my Epson.
