Has anyone had any experiences with these things? There's one I'm looking at now ( http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp...rTtQpiAlnvzMgm) that seems pretty neat.
A couple concerns I'm having:
1) It says it has drivers, but are they required for Macs? Can't you just plug it in and it will mount without the need to install drivers?
2) How reliable is this watch? Will it keep accurate time, and will it last a reasonably long time?
I think the watch looks nice enough (aesthetically). I'm just worried about how reliable this thing is going to be.

I've seen these before and always thought it was a bit weird to have a USB connection sticking out of a watch...
These flash USB drives don't need drivers for OS X. Usually the driver is only for Win 98 (2000,ME,XP have drivers built in).
As for accuracy/reliability ???

I think the poster wants a response from someone who actually owns one. Many flash drives are "mass storage" devices and will load OS9/X, no drivers. But some are not, some require specialized drivers. Whether this is one or not, who knows?
I like the James-Bondesque appeal of these, though.

Yeah, I was staying away from these combo watches until I saw this one. It's the only one I've seen that actually looks kinda good. And it seems like they hide the USB cable pretty well. I'm still kind of iffy about the end of the cable. (Where it hides and how well)
But it's good to hear that most all of these flash drives don't need drivers in OS X. I will be using this to transfer files from work to home and back again.
And looking at it more closely, I can't seem to find the manufacturer of this thing. Doesn't list it on the site, and the box pic is no help. That kinda worries me.

My local CompUSA actually has a few different styles in stock.
Oh - drivers are not required for OS X.

Well, I tracked down the manufacturer page here. Found a couple reviews too, and they seem pretty good. TechTV gave it good review, but dissed it because it wasn't stylish enough. They say it's kinda bulky.
Anyways, I'm in need of a gadget fix, so I might take a chance on this thing.
So, someone stop me if it's a POS! Quick!
