Anyone successfuly updated an oxford 911 firmware on mac os X to fix the "big disk" issue ?
I try to use a firewire external enclosure reference ME-320 from "Micro Plus" that I bought 1 year ago such as this one:
http://www.cdromusa.com/asp/moreinfo.asp?pID=DD607
It has the oxford 911 controller with ata6 support, but as I bought it some time ago, the controller firmware does not support the newer "big disk" and now I want more disk, I hit the 128G (137G) limit, indicating ata5 support, only, while the same box (same ref, ME-320) do sell today, with "big disk" support.
I read the "Java Uploader User Guide v1.1" documentation from
http://www.oxsemi.co.uk/cgi-bin/general/home.cgi
but it does not indicate where to find the uploader itself, the Mac_uploader.tar.gz file (nor the windows file, win_uploader_Java_install.msi).
I did not get feedback from Oxford, but I suppose I should be able to update it.
I may have missed something, but any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Marc.
