Hi
I ordered my very first iPod last week (20 GB). Do you use iTrip (specially in Europe) in your car, are you happy with it ? Is the sound good ? Easy to use ? Reliable ? Can one use the American FM frequencies in Europe (to have unused frequencies here, under 88FM i.e.) ?
I have no experience with the iPod ... can't wait to have it

Love my iTrip, use it almost everyday. I don't live in Europe.

Absolutely love my iTrip. Easy to use, great sound quality, best accessory for the iPod - hands down!

I have heard that it is impossible to drive for a few minutes without having to change the station that iTrip uses because you get interference constantly.

have you guys seen this yet? If you are satisfied with the functionality of the iTrip, then you should love this. It was hiding in an ad in the back of MacWorld:

I think I'd love mine, but I still havent received it. Placed my order in August. Got an e-mail stating that shipments were to begin, but still no UPS at the door.

It's crap.
I cannot believe people get it to work properly.
I've tried it in several cars, both in the USA (california) and in Europe (Italy, Germany, UK) on 2 different iPods.
The results were always the same:
-Lousy soundquality (especialy anything with a hint of base)
-lots of interference from a wide variety of sources.
I went back to my old tape adapter; so much better. But for my next car I'm getting a connection through the cd changer input on my car stereo.

i have a tape adapter and it works great, but the sound isn't exactly cd quality. i don't think the radio ones work that well either.. does the itrip plug into the dc adaptor in the car?
the one with batteries kind of sucks.
