It looks as though HP all-in-one products (such as my officejet 6110 print/scan/fax) are not yet supported in Panther. I wasn't able to find anything specific about this on HP's web site, but there are support documents indicating that only printing is supported on a number of other HP products. There was also something indicating that HP Director software for Panther was coming soon. I sent a support email to HP and I'm awaiting a response.

This is poor. It isn't as though Apple just sprung Panther on people with a week's notice. They've had months to work on this. I will follow up when I hear back from tech support.

After trading a couple of emails with HP tech support, all I can get out of them is "[w]e are still in the process of testing the software in the new Panther, OS 10.3 environment." They are not committing to a date when new drivers will be available, and can only recommend that you subscribe to their email list for driver updates. I've seen a few posts over on the Apple support discussion boards that suggest a December timeframe.
