I just got a BenQ DW400A which said onlien that it was mac compatible altho the box says windows only. i installed it and it physcially seemd to work, then i out a dvd in and it spit it right back out. i put a cd in and it worked fine. I checked the drives status and it says its a cdrw/dvd rom drive with burning not supported. I stuck a dvd in randomly a few mins later and it played and i watched a movie. then i wanted to watch another movie and after trying at least 50 times and it immediately spitting it out i got the movie to work but by then it was too late to watch it. I poppped it in again and it didnt work. Why is is it so picky on rwading dvds. I didnt expect this to be the problem It seems liek it will burn dvds okay thru toast altho i havent got to try that yet. anyone know of any kinda drivers or hacks ya can do to make an unsuported dvd drive read?
